YU XIN

Accomplished Chinese ballet star, Mr. Yu is extensively trained as a classical ballet performing artist and has over 16 years of experience in dancing with the prestigious professional ballet companies such as Shanghai Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet and American Ballet Theater.

Mr. Yu is currently the owner and director of his own ballet school, "Yu Xin Ballet School" in San Jose, CA and he is one of the first ballet instructors who received the certificate of the full American Ballet National Training Curriculum.

TOMOKO OZAWA

Dr. Ozawa was trained and practiced as a neurosurgeon and currently serves as the co-director of pre-clinical therapeutic testing core in the Brain Tumor Center at UCSF.  Beside her career in medicine, she has been very active in practicing classical ballet.

Dr. Ozawa has been actively involved in the Bay Area dance community for many years, and has served as a board member in several non-profit arts organizations.  Dr. Ozawa produced many fundraising dance events to support cancer community as well as local ballet companies.  She previously co-produced the brain tumor benefit dance performance, “Spring Dance Inspiration -a cure for brain tumors- ” raised over $140,000 for brain tumor research, and patient and family member support.  Dr. Ozawa is a founder of our signature event "Dancing for a Cure!".
