Our director, YU XIN, will be teaching a special half-day Adult Ballet Workshop in the Bay Area. Who is this for?

Adult ballet students, ages 21+.  This Workshop is NOT for absolute beginner students.

​​Suitable for advanced beginner to intermediate students

 

​​​​Workshop Schedule (Duration approximately for 4 hours):  

We will spend 1 hour 30 minutes practicing classical ballet technique at the barre and in center.  Then after, we will spend the rest of the hours for learning and practicing a classical variation and a character dance.  We will have two 5-10 minutes breaks in between the training session.

Participant Requirements:

Participants must be at least 21 years old by the date of the class. Students must have achieved a beginner level of ballet training or higher in order to participate. This Workshop is NOT for absolute beginner students.  No pointe shoes.

Location:

San Jose Dance International/Yu Xin Ballet School studio at 1009 South De Anza Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129.  Free parking available.

Cost*:

$200 ($188 tuition + $12 Processing fee) for this small group session.  A number of participants is limited to 8.

*Processing fee of $12 is NOT refundable.  Tuition, $188 in not refundable after August 1, 2025.

Classical Variation and Character Dance**:

Variation: "Vestalka" variation from Paquita

Character Dance: "Seguidilla" from Don Quixote, Act I.  Please bring a fan.
