ADULT BALLET WORKSHOP 2019

Description

Each session begins with a 30 minutes classical ballet barre practice to get the blood flowing and the muscles moving.  After this, participants will learn ballet choreography and practice towards a brain cancer benefit performance on Sunday, November 3rd, 2019 at the Visual and Performing Arts Center Theater in Cupertino, CA.  Each session runs for 2 hours.

Who Is This for?:  Adults over the age of 21 with basic ballet experience

​

When:  6:15PM-8:15PM, Starting on August 25th, 2019 for 10 weeks (Total 10 sessions)

Where:  San Jose Dance International Studio at 1009 South De Anza Blvd. San Jose, CA 95129.  Free parking and easy access from HWY280 and HWY85

​

Cost: $360 including 10 two hour sessions of workshop, dress rehearsal and performance.  Participants will purchase their own costumes for the performance (approximate cost ~$100-$200).

Participant Requirements

Participants must be at least 21 years old to participate in the Workshop.  All students must have basic ballet experience and signed liability releases of San Jose Dance International on the day of the first session.  No audition required.

Space is Limited

For the enjoyment of all, we limit the number of participants to 13 maximum.  We recommend completing your registration as early as possible to ensure your space.
