About the Master Class

Join us for the 2026 Fall Adult Ballet Master Class featuring Yu Xin, where attendees will delve into ballet turn techniques and the enchanting piece "The Entree" from Act 3 of Don Quixote. This master class caters to beginner and intermediate students, providing a distinctive chance to refine your skills while experiencing the elegance of ballet.

Personalized Guidance:

San Jose Dance International emphasizes the importance of Personalized Guidance in ballet master classes for adult dancers.  At this stage, a generic approach can increase the risk of injury, while individualized attention promotes both safety and technical advancement. Mr. Yu Xin will concentrate on each dancer's unique needs, providing customized ballet technique insights designed to enhance your skills and elevate your performance to new heights.  To maintain high-quality instruction, we limit each class to just 8 students.

Who is this for?:

Adult ballet students, ages 21+.  This is a beginner friendly master class, but this is NOT for absolute beginner students.

A class designed for beginner to intermediate students creates a welcoming and supportive environment, encouraging them to explore new concepts and skills.

Master Class Schedule (Duration approximately for 3 hours):

We will start an engaging barre exercise session where you'll learn essential techniques to enhance your skills. Following the barre workout, we'll dive into ballet turn techniques. After that, we'll spend the rest of our time learning and practicing a group dance "The Entree" from Act 3 of Don Quixote. To ensure you stay energized, we’ll include two 5-minute breaks throughout the session. Get ready to elevate your dance experience!
