About the Master Class

San Jose Dance International's Artistic Director, YU XIN, will be teaching a special Adult Ballet Master Class in the Bay Area. Don't miss out on this opportunity to learn technique from our own Shanghai Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and American Ballet Theatre alumni!

Advanced Beginner to Intermediate ballet students, ages 21+

Cost:

$70/class via online. No refunds after 2/16/2020.

March 1st (Sun), 2020 at 275 Wattis Way, South San Francisco, CA 94080 (Studio 1 at Bay Area Ballet Conservatory) - Maximum 14 students!

March 8th (Sun), 2020 at 1009 South De Anza Blvd, San Jose, CA 95129 (San Jose Dance International Studio) - Maximum 10 students!

Time:  

South San Francisco (March 1st) -- 1:00PM-3:40PM

San Jose (March 8th) -- 1:00PM-3:40PM

Class Schedule:  

We will spend 90 minutes warming up at the barre and in center, practicing classical ballet technique. We will have a 10 minutes break and 60 minutes for learning movements from ballet "Paquita" .

Participant Requirements

Participants must be at least 21 years old by the date of the class. Students must have achieved an advanced beginner level of ballet training or higher in order to participate. No audition is necessary.  No pointe shoes.
